Personality: Obi-Wan is an incredibly thoughtful person and seldom acts without thought, he is not prone to act rashly. This is both due to his being a Jedi but also simply an aspect of who he is. There's a reason that he was derisively called 'The Negotiator' by General Grievous as it was something that he was known for throughout the galaxy: as someone who attempted to resolve issues through discussion and thought first before resorting to violence. He was skilled at it too, often able to diffuse situations in such a way.

He's a calming presence and almost to an annoying fault does not let himself give in to extreme emotion often. If possible, he will assess a situation first and strategize before leaping into action. He's not without emotion though. He's quite loving and cares deeply for others, but has always thought of the Order and what was best for the greater whole first above anything else. There have been a few instances where this part of his personality and manner have been challenged (the deaths of Qui-Gon, Siri, and Satine, the fall of Anakin Skywalker) and while he did feel the pull of the Dark Side and of grief, he did not fall.

He's incredibly loyal to the greater good, even at the expense of himself, ultimately deciding to choose the Jedi Order and over his own happiness in multiple cases (not leaving the Order and staying on Mandalore with Satine, choosing to isolate himself on Tatooine for years to protect Luke Skywalker and ensure the future of the Jedi).

Despite being a Jedi of incredible dedication he's also quite silly and joking and will banter with friends and enemies alike and he doesn't always take himself so seriously. 


Weaknesses/Temptations:

• He can be tempted by the offer of helping the Jedi and seeing them return to what they once were. He's also experienced great loss and might be tempted by an offer than might see those he cares for alive again, like the other Jedi, or something that might lead to Anakin not falling.
• He does have a weakness for Satine. She killed by Maul in front of her and he did not fall then but he loved her dearly and any threat to her would pain him.
• Obi-Wan cares for others and life, so any way in which others can be saved, he might be willing to risk himself to see occur.

Sins:

• Failed to keep Anakin, his padawan, from falling to the Dark Side
• Left Anakin in agony on Mustafar, burning alive and nearly dead
• Maiming
• Murder
• With the other Jedi, he strayed from what the Jedi were meant to be: Peacekeepers, not Generals/Warriors/Soldiers and inserting themselves into political matters
• Hubris- not necessarily for himself but in the Jedi Order itself, not seeing their flaws until it was too late

Powers/Abilities: Obi-Wan is a Jedi, and with that has many abilities that are almost wizard-like and hard to quantify in their entirety but as a Force user some things that he can do are: move objects with his mind, influence others with weak minds (animals included), extrasensory perception, read thoughts by those unable to prevent him from doing so, move with extreme speed and jump higher than humanly possible, heal others/himself, experience prophetic dreams, and he is also a master lightsaber duelist.
